Practically Perfect Pictures presents
Where the ordinary becomes the EXTRA-ordinary
The Show
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Kristina Stephenson’s much-loved, timeless picture book comes alive in a fun-filled, interactive adventure of a show for all the family.
Sir Charlie is bold, brave and awfully clever. He likes adventures with wily witches, terrible beasties and fire-breathing dragons. Oh, and he has a cat called Envelope! But who is this pint-sized hero and where did his story come from?
Find out in this innovative, fast-paced, funny and constantly surprising family show, built on the important premise that the best ideas for stories come from children when they are allowed the freedom to play.
With live original music, catchy songs, beautiful puppets, magical props, and unique, cleverly curated audience participation, this joyful and engaging piece of family theatre doesn’t just retell a book – it celebrates storytelling itself.
So, step into the wonderful world of Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and let the adventure begin!
Running time: Approximately 1 hour
Age suitability: Most suitable for ages 3-10 but all ages welcome.
“An extra special treat ”
“Sir Charlie’s epic tale unfolded with heart and humour.”
